Banana Oatmeal Cookies

I love sweets so anytime I can find a somewhat healthy sweet treat I get really excited! I saw a friend post on facebook that you can mash up bananas, add oatmeal, bake them and make cookies. That immediately got me thinking and that’s when I came up with the Banana-Oatmeal-Chocolate Chip-Craisin-Pecan cookie! 🙂

You can use as many ripened bananas as you want depending on how many cookies you want to make. For the cookies you see pictured below I used 1 and 1/2 bananas. I then cut the bananas into pieces and put them into the food processor with 2-3 tablespoons of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and ran it until the banana was blended. I then put the banana puree into a bowl and added around 1/2 tablespoon of brown sugar. I stirred and then added the oatmeal until everything thickened up. Once it thickened up I added the pecans, chocolate chips and craisins in desired amounts! 🙂 I then put in the oven for 8 minutes at 350.

Delicious and somewhat healthy!
